The Cold-Blooded Murder of Dr. Yelenic
A troubled marriage, custody battle, and financial demands were just some of the circumstances Dr. Yelenic faced for years. Filing divorce papers appeared to be his only way out. Dr. Yelenic was to meet at 3:00 p.m. April 13, 2006 at the local notary office in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. He was to sign the final divorce papers while his Aunt Ruth, Uncle Hilding, and Cousin Mary Ann Clark witnessed the long awaited occasion. However, Dr. Yelenic never arrived for his appointment.
His bloody body was discovered at 3:30 p.m. in the hallway of his home on Spring Street by a neighbors son returning a video tape. Rumors swarmed throughout the community. Many pointed in the direction….of law enforcement.
